Stainless Steel 347H Tubing is a higher-carbon form of stabilized austenitic stainless steel grade 347, with 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and columbium (niobium) as a stabilizer against carbide precipitation. The higher carbon content up to 0.10% improves the creep strength and performance at long-term high-temperature service. It has tensile strength of 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa. The tubing has a stable mechanical property up to 900°C temperature and shows good weldability, oxidation resistance, and thermal cycling structural stability.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This tubing is made up of iron, chromium, nickel, and niobium, featuring a higher carbon content than standard 347 tubing to boost its strength at elevated temperatures. The addition of niobium stabilizes the steel, preventing the formation of chromium carbide and enhancing its resistance to intergranular corrosion. On a mechanical level, 347H tubing showcases impressive tensile and yield strength, toughness, and remarkable creep resistance when exposed to high temperatures. It also boasts excellent weldability, thermal stability, and oxidation resistance, making it ideal for applications that demand consistent durability under heat, pressure, and corrosive conditions.
